About Jean-Pierre
Jean-Pierre Boelen is an experienced professional services executive and leadership coach. Over the last 30+ years he has proven to add real and lasting value to the organisations and people he worked with. He has the capability to understand the (internal) client needs, challenge status quo and build and lead high performance teams in a multi-cultural and multi-country environment.
After his MSc at the Delft University of Technology, faculty of Technical Mathematics and Computer Science he started his career at Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) focusing on telecom, utilities and financial services. As from 2005 Jean-Pierre joined Deloitte Netherlands to build and grow the financial services practice. He led the financial services practice and has been part of Deloitte’s Executive Committee until June 2017, followed by taking on the responsibility for the banking & capital markets practice across the region (UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Malta and Middle East) as well as Financial Services lead in the Nordics (interim). Next to his managerial role, Jean-Pierre has always been serving the largest financial services clients. In 2023 Jean-Pierre joined a Netherlands based executive search firm as CEO. Since 2011 Jean-Pierre is also a non-Executive Board member at a family-owned business.
During his career he has seen that failures of business and transformations are seldom due to the complexity of the content, but almost always related to the strength and diversity of leadership, their vision, communication skills, et cetera. Hence Jean-Pierre’s decision to pursue his passion and dedicate his time to the development of high performance and diverse leadership teams and individuals.
